1st Tour Of 2008

My mom and I are planning to go to Vietnam this April as our birthday present to ourselves. I know its still months away but I am very excited. I realized though that I ran out of money because a lot was spent during the holidays so I have to budget my hard earn income to save for the said trip. My mom and my aunt Even were always traveling and in case the Vietnam tour will materialized then that would be my first out of the country travel. There are a lot of countries I would like to visit like Thailand, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Cambodia among countries in Asia. I would also like to visit America and Europe. Able to travel almost all of the major cities and hotspots in the Philippines I think this would be the time to visit other countries as well (not to mention that I now have my own DSLR camera).

A lot of places intrigue me and Portugal is one of them. Actually I already browsed the internet and found some interesting information about the country. Some of the famous spots in Portugal are Lisbon, the Algarve and Madeira. There are also aplenty of Portugal Hotels or places to stay there. If you decide to go to Lisbon, the largest city in Portugal, to see the Castle of São Jorge and the Lisbon Cathedral you could choose a widerange of Lisbon Hotels through the net all year round. I love beaches so Algarve is a must see for me because a lot of well-known beaches in Portugal were there: from Praia da Luz to Armação de Pêra. Algarve Hotels can also be booked easily over the internet and so does Madeira Hotels which is very famous for its island of Porto Santo. I’d really love to visit Portugal some day.

Here are some of the places in Portugal that I’ve searched that is worth my visit:
• Costa Verde — The Portuguese green coast comprises all the northern coast of Portugal from the estuary of the Minho River to the city of Porto.
• Costa da Prata — Silver coast. The coast of central Portugal from Porto to Lisbon.
• Costa de Lisboa — Lisbon coast. The coast of the capital city and its important suburbs.
• Montanhas — Mountainous and interior regions of northern and central Portugal, namely Serra da Estrela and Trás-os-Montes.
• Planícies — The Portuguese plane region of Alentejo in the south.
• Algarve — The southern coast of Portugal.
• Madeira — The Madeira islands.
• Açores — The Azores islands.
