Last day of work...2003

This is our last day of work this year (2003) and sure glad that tomorrow I'll be able to go back to the province (Kidapawan City). I'm so excited already coz after 8 long months of staying away from the family, I'll be able to see them. Though I'll only spend 9 days with them, It's worth it all. I'll be back on January 02, 2004. Then on the 4th I'll go directly to Subic to support one of our customer then be back on the 5th or the 6th.

Walang magawa kaya nagdrawing na lang...kinulayan sa Photoshop...Tapos...

Last night we had our Chrismas Party (PISP) at Stonecreast, Southwoods. It was a blast though I arrived late (again), I had fun. We had 4 Singaporean visitors who spent the event with us. Though they're not familiar with "otso-otso" and "spaghetti" dance moves, they tried their best to dance (the Japanese however are very good in dancing those dance moves, I don't know why).

Who's the fairest of them all...

Well, this might also be my last journal this year.

Advance Merry Christmas to all and a Prosperous New Year ahead of us...

See you next year...

That week that was...

It's been six days since I last posted my short story about what's happening with this lonely yet not so boring life I am living right now. I've been busy during those days and it's quite hard to budget the limited time I was given.

Wednesday: "Note-ing Hill"

Main characters:

Mark - batchmate in Ateneo who is also working in Panasonic but of different department (Environmental thing)
Ollen - officemate who is half-Filipina and half-German (Nagahubag ang dughan niya)
MJ - officemate who attended some meeting re Environmental Issues (Single and available)
PJ - Mark's officemate (Wala lang)

I was busy pretending that I am doing something. Hahaha...just kidding (people say that jokes are half truth)!!! Well the most exciting thing that have transpired during the day was when I sent Mark a note (Lotus note) asking him if he already sent Ollen a note. I was kinda excited because he has been asking me Ollen's IP address the whole day and when I finally gave it to him, I thought that he should have drop her a note or two, right? I wanna know what he told her and if she replied. It took him quite a while to reply and the note said "Nagmi-meeting pa kami." I thought ok so I replied, "Sowee..."

Around 2 or 3 pm, I was sending fax to customer when MJ suddenly came in and told me, "Hoy, nag-turbo ka kay Mark ano?" She's smiling and still catching her breath.

"Ha?!, paano nalaman," I asked her (syempre medyo confuse why she knew).

"Kase kanina nagmi-meeting kami at me biglang nag appear sa screen na note na galing sa 'yo," she told me, still smiling.

"D' nga?" Asking her pretending I was not affected.

"Oo ano, buti na lang d' nila alam kung ano ang Turbo notes," she said.

"Ibang department?" I was scared na this time because if The Personell will know about the incident, tiyak suspended kami ni Mark.

"Lahat ano, environmental ata 'yung meeting namin," she bragged. "Nagreply ka pa uli sa note ni PJ na ano nga ba 'yun? Ah, sowee!!!," said while laughing at me. Then she went to her table and begun to spread the incident.
I followed her and begging her to stop coz it so embarrassing. After she told three of her collegues she said, "Sila lang naman sinabihan ko ah." I was relieved when I knew that The Personell knew nothing of the incident.

Lesson: Huwag magtsismis-an habang nasa work. High tech man ang gamit sa tsismis-an kung palpak naman eh 'wag na lang. If can't be avoided, try to checked wether it's safe and not busy 'yung katsismis-an mo. 'Bat pa kasi naging sexy si Ollen eh...

Thursday: "KTV sa Pan"

My mom and two other of her male officemates came to Manila for a very special meeting. After sending my guest to Dusit, I hurriedly went to Pan Pacific where my mom was staying. Her officemates asked me to join them on the KTV bar upstairs and I agreed. So we went up and asked for the rate. When we were told about it, it was expensive (Entrance Fee + VIP room + Ladies tapos per hour ang costing). Kaya naman ang presyo pero not worth it daw so we decided not to enter the bar so we went to our separate rooms and decided to sleep na lang and might visit the KTV bar in our dreams.

Friday: "Traffic Jam"

I spent 2 and a half hours on the road. The traffic jam was so heavy. It started at Southwoods (Laguna area) up to Taytay (Ortigas Extension). Me and my Japanese guest were late for about 1 hour with our meeting. Luckily, the person that we're going to meet also spent 2 hours on the road.

Saturday: "Boring day"

Me and my Japanese guest visit one customer in the morning then after I went back to the office while he headed to the airport. I finished making the program for our Chrismas Party. The microwave oven I ordered came then I got the ham from The Personell and wait for the bell to rang.

Sunday: "Xmas Party"

I went to San Pablo city to attend the Komikero Chrismas Party at Gerry's house. I bought ice cream before I went to Gerry's place. I was late (almost as usual hehehe) and they already started the LOTR 1/2 (Extended Version) marathon. It was 45 pass 1 pm so I was hungry and decided to eat first (almost sabay lang kami dumating ni Geoff). I knew that there are scenes that were deleted but I never thought those scenes were so many and so damn good. I really had fun and I really appreciate each and everyone's effort to make that day worth remembering. Hikbi...

Bad day...

I felt so sleepy and so tired today...my heads spinning...and the worst thing is that it affected my work somehow...I did a terrible mistake...I thought 6 (six) is 0 (zero) so instead of JPY 12,600, I put on the quotation JPY 12,000 instead (this sum is only a sample)...I felt so small...So dumb...The good thing is that it was only a draft...Still it was a big mistake...I apologize to my Japanese adviser and my Assistant Manager...I hope this will be a lesson for me...I just hope that this will not happen again...they told me that it was ok and people make mistakes...Still it didn't make me feel better...

Anyway, my Supervisor (see pic below) went to New Jersey to spend the Holidays with his wife (they only see each other this time of the year). That is the reason why I have to double my efforts in order for things to run as normal as it can probably be.

Yesterday...

Me and Butch Gamay (classmate in college) went to megamall yesterday to buy gifts, comics, magazines and a lot more. After going to Filbars we decided to go to Comic Quest to look for comics (by the way I always check Comic Quest and Filbars twice a month in megamall) when we saw a poster of Zsa Zsa Zaturna, since my friend was not able to read the second half of the book, he begged me to buy a copy. I told him that if I buy now I won't be able to have it signed by Carlo since he's not around. Butch insisted (as if he's the one buying the book) that I have it signed later when I meet the author. After long hours (actually not hours, only 15 minutes but I felt it took as hours to argue) of argument, I finally said yes. When I was about to purchase the book the saleslady told me that there's a compilation of the two book and told me to have it signed by the author at that very moment. Incidently Carlo was at the Comic Quest at that time so I grab a copy and have it signed. I almost forgot to pay, though...hehehe...

College studio pics...

I always keep 3 college pics inside my wallet. Everytime I want to relax I just open my wallet and alas you can instantly see a smile on my face. Once in a while I think it's nice to remember things from the past and reminisce some of the happy moments you have had so long as you do not dwell on the past of course. Right now I just want to share my pics to the world so that they might see some of my classmates and friends in college.

Here are the pics:

Upper row left to right:Me, Aya, Butch Gamay, Honnie.

Lower row left to right: Cherry, Andy

This picture was taken when we were still in 3rd year college. As you can see I'm still so thin to the bones...Hehehe...We just had our defense on one of our project study. You know what? We got a very good mark on that paper...Hehehe...Thanks to Cherry (one of our Cum Laude).

Middle Row left to right: Butch Gamay, Honey, Roxanne (weird hair), Cherry, Honnie, Ana Karenina.

This picture was taken when we where hmmm let me guess...4th year I think...well we decided to have this pic taken because Vincent is already going to study in Japan. He earned a scholarship from the Government of Japan. He'll be graduating next year.

This picture was taken when we where in 5th year. This is the last pic taken before graduation. As you can see, I'm not so thin anymore...Hehehe...been eating a lot lately.

Farewell my boss...

I just remembered the day that the two of our Japanese members went back to Japan. I am the one who prepared the gifts!!! Trust me, they love my artwork. Hehehehe thanks to computer and photoshop without those things I could not possibly finish making those gifts in 4 days. You know what?! They ignore all other gifts given to them except the gifts produced by my bare hands. Hehehe quite flattering, huh! Anyway, we prepared a farewell party for them (of course there's always a farewell party) and then we finally say our messages and stuff (all the boring things you expect in a farewell party). Then we finally said goodbye. Huhuhuhehehehahaha!!! Then we drink all night.

Here are some pics taken at the party:

A new Day has come...

Hey this is my first message on this blog and I'm very much excited to tell you things about -ME! Hehehe...Who else do you think this site is all about, huh? Well, I used to be a very simple guy until I know how to think!!! Just kidding. Of course I know how to think. Hmmm...Where do I start? First, I'm a registered Electronics and Communications Engineer doing Sales. ECE and Sales? Can you connect? At first I can't but when I started working I eventually know the connection. I am selling Factory Automation equipments and believe me there's a lot of circuits you can find in a single machine. Most of them you don't discuss in class. Second, I'm a comic artist!!! Hehehe...Or at least that's what I believe...I joined komikero (a small group of comic artist in Laguna) last August 29, 2003. I also help organize the recently concluded (December 7, 2003) First San Pablo Comic Art Festival and it was a blast!!! Third, I'm a frustrated singer. Well what can I say, some people just don't have what it takes to become a singer but you know what I am a choir member in college - bass. My singing career ended when *ehem* came into my life...watta memory that was...

Well, that's all for the mean time folks. Until then...oh please don't get tired of me I'm worth $1,837,322.00...hehehe
